One wrote, “Isn’t it against royal protocol to wear off-the-shoulder at a state function?” Another added, “That dress is so inappropriate for the occasion.”

Despite the criticism, many admired Melania’s fearless fashion statement. Supporters praised her for bringing a pop of color and elegance to the event. One admirer commented, “She looks stunning the color is bold, and she stands out beautifully.”
