Donald Trump's 'listen' plea to Benjamin Netanyahu spotted by lip reader

A private exchange between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been revealed by lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman, sparking widespread debate. The two leaders were seen speaking just before their joint press conference at the White House, and Freeman claims Trump urged Netanyahu to help him finalize a controversial Gaza deal.

According to Freeman, Trump greeted Netanyahu warmly before quickly turning to business. “Very nice to see you,” Trump appeared to say, before adding, “Listen, we need to get this done. We are fully looking out for you. We need to get this deal done, OK?”

The U.S. president has now issued a stern ultimatum to Hamas, giving the group “three or four days” to agree to his peace proposal for Gaza or face what he described as “a very sad end.” Trump insisted that Israeli leadership had already accepted his plan and that many Arab leaders were also supportive. The only obstacle, he said, was Hamas.

When pressed by reporters on whether Hamas would be allowed to negotiate changes to the deal, Trump’s response was blunt: “Not much.”

Global Reactions to Trump’s Plan

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres voiced support for the proposal, calling for all parties to commit to an “immediate and permanent ceasefire.” A UN spokesperson emphasized the urgency of aid and humanitarian relief, stressing that Gaza’s dire situation required swift action.

Meanwhile, reactions on the ground in Gaza remain divided. Despite anger at Israel’s military actions, some local groups are now openly calling for Hamas to step aside. Hossam al-Astal, a militia leader in Khan Younis, told The Guardian, “I will work with the devil himself if it helps me protect my city. Hamas must leave Gaza.”

Across the Atlantic, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also welcomed Washington’s intervention while speaking at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool. He praised the U.S. effort, saying, “I strongly support attempts to end the fighting, release every hostage, and urgently scale up aid into Gaza. We must revive the hope of a two-state solution – a secure Israel alongside a promised Palestinian state, which our government now recognises.”

What Trump’s Gaza Deal Includes

Details of the U.S. proposal are sweeping. Hamas would be permanently disarmed and barred from future political leadership in Gaza. In return for a ceasefire, the plan calls for the release of all 48 Israeli hostages within 72 hours, though officials admit fewer than half are believed to still be alive.

On the other side, Israel would free more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners, including individuals serving life sentences. Israeli forces would then withdraw to a buffer zone on the edge of its territory, enabling large-scale humanitarian aid to reach Gaza’s population, where food shortages and famine-like conditions persist.

As the deadline approaches, uncertainty remains over Hamas’s response. Trump has made it clear that time is running out, and his threat of consequences looms large. With world leaders voicing cautious support, the next few days may determine whether Gaza sees a fragile peace or further devastation.
