Donald Trump Addresses Health Rumors After 9/11 Memorial Appearance Sparked Concern
Rumors about Donald Trump’s health have been circulating since footage from the 9/11 memorial service showed what many viewers described as a “drooping” appearance on one side of his face. Adding to the speculation, photos of the former president’s hands with visible bruises raised fresh questions about his condition.
Now, the US president has directly addressed the issue during a live Fox News interview, coinciding with news that he had met Finland’s president at the White House in Washington, D.C.
“I’m in great shape,” Trump declared confidently, telling reporters he’s preparing for another medical check-up soon. Jokingly tapping on a nearby table, he said, “I’ll let you know. But no, I have no difficulty thus far. Is it wood around here to knock on?”
Trump went on to emphasize that both his physical and mental health were strong. “Physically, I feel very good, mentally, I feel very good,” he said. “About six or seven months ago, I did my physical early always be early, that’s a good lesson for a lot of people.”
He also brought up his cognitive test, a topic he’s mentioned in the past. “I took a cognitive exam, which is always risky because if you don’t do well, the media will be all over it. But I got a perfect score one of the doctors said he had almost never seen that. That made me feel good,” Trump told Fox.
Mocking his predecessors, Trump added, “Did Obama do it? No. Did Bush do it? No. Did Biden do it? Definitely not he wouldn’t have gotten the first three questions right.”
According to The Guardian, the cognitive test Trump referenced includes simple tasks such as naming as many words as possible starting with a specific letter, or identifying differences between animals like a rhino, a lion, and a camel.
Trump concluded, “I believe every president should take a cognitive exam. It’s not the easiest test the first few questions are easy, but it gets trickier. I can guarantee not many people in this room would get every question right.”
Despite public concerns, Trump continues to insist he’s “feeling great” and ready for whatever lies ahead politically and physically.
